The Destellos de Maguey collection draws inspiration from the maguey plant and exotic tropical flora native to Guatemala, such as Aves del Paraíso and Heliconias. TUUX captures the essence of Guatemala’s rich cultural heritage and the beauty of its natural landscape.
Crafted by skilled Guatemalan artisans, the Maguey Tote is a piece of art created from maguey sourced from Olopa, Chiquimula, a region of Guatemala known as the “Corredor Seco” (Dry Corridor), along with cotton thread. We use different techniques that transform the maguey in beautiful timeless handbags. Please note that due to the handmade nature of this item, there may be slight irregularities in color, shape, size, and details, rendering each piece truly unique.
